Who this is for

For buyers who want land, horses and space rather than a view of the water

Ocala is inland, in the middle of the state, and it is the one place on this map with no beach at all. The ground here is limestone, which puts calcium in the grass, which is why thoroughbreds have been raised on these hills for a century — several Kentucky Derby winners came off farms within twenty minutes of town. The World Equestrian Center opened in 2021 and is the largest facility of its kind in the country. What people buy here is land: acreage, pasture, a barn. It is also the most affordable market on this map by a wide margin.
